I really want to make six figures a year online from an online business. I have four online business ideas but I only have time for 2.
1. The first online business idea is a auction/marketplace website where people can sell, trade, or buy gift cards. I will make money from this by charging a small fee once a successfull trade/sale is made.
2. The second online business idea is a website with information on how to build a website. I will make money with this by using ads and affiliate marketing.
3. The third online business idea is a fixed term membership site/program where I charge $25 a month and the program runs through a full year. I send out the fixed term membership course through an autoresponder.
4. The fourth online business idea is a website like yahoo answers where people can debate/argue about different things. The site will be free, but i will put ads on it to make money.
Which online business ideas do you think could make me six figures a year? I want to quit my 9-5 job which was paying a nice six and up figures a year. Any ideas on how I can make six figures online? What of my ideas could make me six figures a year? Thanks.

idea 1 , not a bad idea , but i dont think you will make 6 fig on that , for reason is that people can already buy gift cards on ebay , of course you have a extra thing as they can also trade , but still you will need a very big turn over before you make 6 fig , also you may have claims ( people use fake cards etc etc ) lots of work , however keep this in your mind for now.
2 there are lots of free webside with the same stuff , by the right add ref, ( if people click on it ) you may get 20 cents , this will mean that you need 500.000 people that will come to your site , see an add and also like it so much that they will click on it . but it is more likely that you will get less money and we will have to include costs ( hosting , etc etc )
3 this depends on what kind of course you will sell , if you can get 4000 people to buy this from you for 25 a month you will make your 6 fig.

I’m sorry to say that it might be a decade too late for some of those ideas, attempting to compete with eBay or yahoo answer would be a difficult, expensive undertaking. There are people making ok money from membership sites, the success depends greatly on the money making potential of the selected subject and the expertise/reputation of the site’s founder.
Most people earning money on the internet have gone through trial and error periods, and have lost money on experiments before finding their way.
I suggest you first try a method with the goal of breaking even, which is in itself a milestone, once an operation can support it’s own operating costs, any refinements go towards profits.
You would be extremely lucky to get one of those business ideas to return 6 figures, becoming affiliated with something that’s already a proven money maker may be the most sure way to make big money, floating a month’s income in advertising money promoting one of the shady products like teeth whitening, diet, akai berry, loans appear to be the way some become overnight affiliate marketing successes.
