Seo Taiji Boys’ debut. It was first broadcasted in MBC in 1992 where new artists would perform and get judged by a panel of critics. Taiji boys got the lowest score in the show, but the audience differed and changed the way music was done in Korea. Korean music can be divided in two eras: Pre Seo Taiji and Post Seo Taiji. Also, they gave rise to the boy bands that we see in Korea today.

It’s so weird to think that’s YG! lol But, I love the dancing in this! It’s so 90′s! Basically just jumping around and waving your arms! lol That punch move was EPIC! haha
the one with the glasses is seo taiji
Seo Taiji is really handsome.
YG is the one who goes solo at 3:03
wow…i’m speechless. old school kpop! They’re better dancers than nowadays kpop groups. seriously. they move too fast, which one is YG? the one with the glasses?
what a dead crowd
And Juno was successful in the early stage as a producer with the group “Young Turks Club”, while YG was a failure with a nobody group that I don’t remember name.
He is Lee Juno, the best dancer of the group who was considered the best dancer in Korea in the 80s and early 90s and influenced whole generation of dancers at that time hence why we have many world class Korean bboys today. And no YG wasn’t a good dancer, only in his late career when he did solo debut he could dance a little.
oh thanks i was really curious…
The other third guy’s name is “Lee Juno”. He wasn’t very successful like YG and ST.
YG is a really good dancer i wonder all of them could still dance like that… i also just adore seo taiji… but who is the third guy?… is he successful like YG and ST
ㅋㅋㅋ…..저 당시에는 충격적인 노래였지요….역시 이상벽씨가 말한데로 대단한 실마리역할을 했었던거 같네요…
좋은 영상 잘 보고 갑니다…감사합니다…
i got goosebumps…
oh my goshh.., YG
they were so ahead of their time!!!!!!!!
omg i didnt’ know that YG used to be a singer, moreover in Seotaiji! thanks for sharing! this is so greattt! XD
Thank you so much for sharing!!
They are still awesome
woah I never imagined YG to be this good!
You have to take into consideration the size of South Korea and the smaller and more centralized music scene when compared to America’s. It’s easier to start up a musical revolution in smaller countries than it is in larger ones.
lol the judges were so fucking retarded. only one guy realized their potential (the dorky looking guy w/ glasses)
omg I loved that punch dance move o.o epic
yang hyun suk and even the other two looks soo tall.
man the audience is so serious….
American musicians had their own movements (like Nirvana upstarted “grunge” rock sub-genre with their styles) but I agree, no American musicians had this big an impact as a dancing/singing group.
Lol at Ji Suk Jin’s album at the start
