Hi there.
My name is Katie. I am 21 years old. I justed signe dup on Friday to be a Avon rep. I am really excited to get my Avon business up and running. Would any Avon reps mind sharing me their tips on what they did when they first started out? Where did you take brochures? What did you say? Did you make flyers and hand out? If so, what did they say? I’d really appreicate any advice. Thank you!

I’ll bet your smile just lights up a room. I have a game plan for you in your new venture that would explode it beyond your beliefs, and its free from me!
Certain principles and tools you can work with starting today
will change your life and the lives of people around you. call me or email me at: imsetfree3@yahoo.com or call me
office 540-622-2651 cell: 970-218-8337 My name is Robert.
I will get your game plan, goals, and plan of execution, and education of understanding your prospect and building your credibility to the point to where they are coming to you and saying “Were do I sign?”
My best advice for you is to take a deep breath, and STUDY! I know, boring, right? But would you want to buy something as personal and important as beauty products from someone who doesn’t even know the products she’s trying to sell, or even much about the business she’s representing? They offer lots of free training classes online on the Beauty of Knowledge that will give you lots of really good advice both on AVON as a business, and just some important beauty how-to’s. Most the classes can be finished in less than 1/2 an hour, and they are all free, so you have no excuse not to take advantage of them!
In the mean time, practice some “sale pitches” with your friends and family so you are a lot more comfortable when you are approaching strangers. First impressions count, and your friends and family will love (and probably buy from you) no matter how good you are with sales.
Practice makeovers, too. Prom season is almost here and you want to have that down! Then, if you know any teenage girls (younger sister/cousin works great) have her invite her friends over with the promise you will do all their makeup for free–with AVON products. Then make sure they don’t leave without a brochure and a business card (VistaPrint will give you, I think, 200 for free. You just pay shipping).
As you get more comfortable with yourself and your business (yes, YOUR business) everything will just start to come naturally. If you really love your products and what you sell, you won’t come off as “sales person-ish”. And best of all, if you know a thing or two about what you’re selling, customers will trust your recommendations a lot more.
One more thing: never under-estimate the advantages of going to your monthly Sales Meetings! It gives you a chance to see some AVON “lifers” close-up (and maybe even ask for them to share their secrets). You also get to pre-view new products that are coming out so you can tell your customers about them. Plus, you often get free samples just for coming. Ask your district manager when your next one is.
