Over the last month I have been going thru a never ending nightmare with a very large jewelry chain on my engagement ring and wedding band. They damaged it beyond repair and for a month refused to replace it. Finally they agreed to replace it. Since then I cant reach them. I am waiting on this to all be resolved before I start letting the public know about the entire situation. I want my rings back first. This wasnt the first problem with them. When they first sold me the ring it had a cracked diamond in it. They actually sent my husband home with a ring that had a cracked diamond in it.
How can I maximize the impact of my review to their business? I feel no guilt in saying I want to put them out of business (I know I wont but, couldnt hurt to try).
What is the best way to get this complaint viral?
Hint at the store: “He went to …..”
I am not asking for a new ring plus my old ring. I am waiting on my new ring to come in before I spread the word.
Thanks Debbie. I have considered it. The only problem with all of this is that….I would love to take them down publicly but, I work for a large media corporation and I have a lot of public interaction. I dont want to be the “local complainer” you know? Though I have strong reason I dont want clients and coworkers to look at me in that light.
So confused.

BBB will have the most impact, they arn’t going to give you the old ring back and a new one
Small claims court would be the best way to get your money back if they are not responding to you
Honestly, this is extreme but it will get your point across and I’m SURE that they will respond. If this is a brick and mortar store, get a demonstration permit (fairly inexpensive) and everyday that you aren’t working, walk the side walk with a HUGE sign that says ” Name of Store and your complaint”. Depending on where you live, you may get local news coverage.
If it’s online, then that makes it a little more difficult. I would think posting something on youtube might get the ball rolling. I’d notify the store about the video as well. I wish you luck!
